It looks attractive on the counter and compliments our stainless appliances. The side load feature for both the water and coffee grounds works very well. This allows you fill the water dispenser over the sink and to keep the coffeemaker in place. I ordered a second carafe which makes it perfect for entertaining. The separate "water only" feature works well for tea. The carafe does a nice job of keeping the coffee hot. As others have mentioned, it is noisy. When pouring, you must be patient. The carafe will leak if you tip it too far.
